Education is one of the biggest government fiefdoms in Texas, and big education apologists will never run out of reasons to argue that they need more money.
Truth About Schools is a blog created by the Texas Association of School Boards to advocate for more education spending.
It is a bad sign for the Texas Lottery Commission that Truth About Schools is so unimpressed with the Texas Lottery that it wrote a post deriding it as a revenue generator.
The Texas Lottery needs cover from big education to survive. The Texas Lottery was only ever tolerated because of the big promises it made about its ability to fund public education in Texas. It has failed miserably on that score. Even big education says so.
